Tradition · Temple of Set

Symbols

The principal emblem is the inverted pentagram enclosed by a circle, derived from the Sigil of Baphomet of the Church of Satan but reinterpreted in Setian terms: the pentagram’s five points are read as the four elements crowned by spirit (in the inverted orientation, with spirit downward into manifestation). The hieroglyphic name of Set, written in the Egyptian manner, appears in much of the Temple’s ritual material. Black and silver are the conventional colours of formal Temple working; ritual robes are typical of public gatherings and degree ceremonies.
