Set
The Egyptian god of the desert, of foreigners, of disruption, and of the principle of separation from the natural cosmic order. In Setian doctrine, as established in Aquino’s The Crystal Tablet of Set (1985), Set is treated as a real non-natural entity — the personification of isolate consciousness, of an existence genuinely apart from rather than continuous with the natural world. The Setian conception is distinct from the Egyptological reading and from the demonic-figure framing in some Christian readings of the ancient material.
