Concordance entry

93

A Thelemic greeting and shorthand derived by Greek isopsephy: the numerical value of both thelema ("will") and agape ("love"), the two principal terms of Thelemic doctrine. Used as a salutation among Thelemites in correspondence and conversation, often abbreviated to "93" or "93 93/93" (an emphatic form). The number functions as an in-group identifier and as a doctrinal compression of the core Thelemic position — the Law is Will and Love.
